While a cannabis-themed dinner hosted by Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg may sound like a surreal concept, it’s about to become reality. Thanks to a collaboration between BIC EZ Reach and SWED, the duo is inviting guests to an intimate cannabis pairing event in West Hollywood, California, on April 17.

A High-End Twist on 4/20

Initially intended to align with the traditional 4/20 celebrations, the event’s date shifted to accommodate the holiday calendar. “It’s Easter, so it’s going to take place on the 17th so people can be with their children and the Easter Bunny,” Stewart explained.

Though the date changed, Stewart’s signature attention to detail remains front and center. She revealed that the dinner will feature “white linen tablecloths with crystal and silver,” creating a refined ambiance. As for the menu, guests can expect “delicious baby lamb chops … with brown butter polenta,” paired with “cannabis-infused mocktails.”

Tickets and Access

Entry to the event is limited and was made available on a first come, first served basis beginning April 10 at BIC.com. The exclusive nature of the dinner is designed to offer a personal and elevated experience, something Stewart and Snoop have become known for through their unlikely but enduring partnership.

Martha on Cannabis and Lifestyle Lessons from Snoop

Though Stewart doesn’t identify as a traditional cannabis user, she embraces the environment. “I like the smell, OK? I don’t mind the smell of weed at all, and so I sort of enjoy it,” she said. Rather than lighting up, she puts her BIC lighters to use in other ways: “I use my lighters for lighting my candles—natural beeswax candles that smell delicious—and for the flambéing of the alcoholic beverages.”

When asked what she’s learned from Snoop over the years, Stewart responded enthusiastically. “Oh, well, so much!” she said. “Not only about music and being introduced to all the musicians—like, I wouldn’t know who Lil Yachty was. And so I’ve gotten to learn a lot about the music, and I really like rap a lot.”

Snoop has also influenced her sense of style. “Snoop fashion, which is extraordinary and very chic, actually,” she noted. And perhaps most notably, Stewart credits him with helping her adopt a more relaxed lifestyle. “I learned just a kind of casual lifestyle that I would have never known otherwise, you know?”

On Beauty, Boundaries, and Hosting

At 83, Stewart attributes her glowing skin to a simple, consistent routine. “Use the very best products on your face that you can find that agree with your type of skin,” she advised. “I use sunscreen every single morning, all over—I use a tinted moisturizer from Alastin.”

But when it comes to switching off, Stewart resists. “I have a family; what if my daughter had to reach me? I think it’s kind of a weird thing that you’re even able to disconnect like that. I don’t like being disconnected,” she said, recalling a missed FaceTime from Snoop at 1:00 a.m. She didn’t pick up because she had already washed her face.

Dinner Party Do’s and Don’ts

As the queen of hosting, Stewart shared practical advice for entertaining. “Don’t try to be too clever with your guest list,” she said. “If you’re inviting somebody that you really think is very special, think of people who would get along with that very special person.”

And her number one mistake to avoid is neglecting introductions. “Be very nice when the guests arrive, to make sure you include everybody in introductions. When you have to go and introduce yourself in somebody’s house, I think that’s really bad.”

With cannabis mocktails, fine dining, and a star-powered guest list, Stewart and Snoop’s dinner party is poised to be one of the season’s most talked-about events, and for a lucky few, an unforgettable experience.
