Kazaizen is a completely self-taught multi-instrumentalist who treats music strictly as a serious, demanding craft rather than a casual pursuit. Heavily rooted in a foundational blues influence, His music has evolved into an open-ended exploration of sound. For the artist, his creative journey has become deeply intertwined with cannabis. kazaizen utilizes the substance as a core personal catalyst.
He explains, “It shifts my auditory perspective, allowing me to dissect and stack complex analog synths, loose jams, and raw guitar tracks with a highly specific, atmosphere-driven focus.”
Authenticity in the Age of Artificiality
The kazaizen project exists to create uncompromised music for the sake of the art itself, completely detached from superficial commercial formulas or the pursuit of cheap, immediate social media validation. kazaizen has found that navigating an oversaturated digital landscape often forces artists to commodify themselves. He steadfastly refuses to do this, instead enforcing a strict boundary between creation and distribution.
